Coastal Rainbow.jpg (74183 bytes) Left: Rich Wildermuth recently completed the California Fish and Game's Heritage Trout Challenge by bringing in seven distinct species or subspecies of trout. This is a Coastal Rainbow.

Right: Rich Wildermuth caught this super rare Gila trout in the Gila National Forest in New Mexico. Recently taken off the Federal Endangered Species List the Gila Trout were recently opened for limited fishing opportunities for the first time since 1966.

Right: Rich Wildermuth caught this Little Kern Golden out of a tributary of the Little Kern River in California. This was his 9th fish on the CA Fish and Game Heritage Trout Challenge.

Right: This Eagle Lake Rainbow was caught by Rich Wildermuth out of Eagle Lake near Susanville, Ca. These rainbows are yet another subspecies and are found only in Eagle Lake.
